About Me

Hello Everyone! My name is Kelli, and I love food. Really, I would marry it if I could. Hello Mr Bacon! Will you be dipped in Chocolate this evening? Ok that was disturbing I know. ( but that is what I craved my entire pregnancy; don’t knock it til you’ve tried it) I will just stick to the facts for now. I am a mid-30-something wife and mother who would like to quit her full-time job and bake for people. Just to see people enjoying the food that I make it so satisfying to me. That is why I am starting this blog, so that I can share some recipes and photos (I do appologize for the Photos that I take. At the moment I am taking them with my Droid Phone because my Cannon is not working.I will do my best to get it working soon!) of what I make and a few shots of the fam will be there too.. Since I can’t quit my job, at least I can share them this way. I am a total junk foodie but do enjoy the salty side of things every once in a while as well.

 Here are some things about me in a nutshell:

1)      EVERYTHING is better with Butter

2)      I believe life is what you make of it. No one will make you happy if you don’t want to be happy in the first place.

3)      I believe there is a God and He loves you more than you know. Let Him handle what you feel you can’t. Let it go.

4)      Bacon is a food group of its own.  (and I really do love it with chocolate)

5)      I am learning to like beer. My hubs is somewhat of a connoisseur and is teaching me. (trying anyway)

6)      I love camping.

7)      My son is the light of my life. It took me a l-o-n-g  time to have him here. And everyday I thank God for the precious gift He gave me.

8)      I love to follow blogs, especially food blogs. If you have one please share with me.

9)      I met one of my best friends thru a website we were both on. and our children had the same due date. (I just think that is the coolest thing EVER) someday I will live closer to her and maybe convince her to be my personal photographer.

10)   I have loved my hubs since I was 13. Married him at 31. Love you Babers.

 

 Oh and one more thing, my hair is never the same color for more than, oh about a month. That is the joy of having a wonderful mother and sister that are both hair geniuses. And since they have their own organic salon and products then hey I say Let’s Play! http://www.shearmiracleorganics.com
